Create an environment attractive to continued industrial growth and investment which will lead to a vibrant industrial sector.

H.I.I.A. MANDATE
In 1963, three leading principles were established defining the H.I.I.A.

To offer co-ordinated leadership to promote and develop the Industrial sector of the Region.
To assist local established Industries, and to attract new industries, while promoting the advantages of the region.
To bring forth recommendations for what fuels the Industrial development, and to work together with the various governments, municpalities, other organizations and individuals.

Today, these principles remain the focus of the association.
